About Me
My passion for education and advocacy began at an early age. Helping those in need and striving to equip them with knowledge and resources to overcome negative stereotypes, as well as providing them with a chance at success was the driving force behind my social work and academic career. I am a true educator at heart, teaching both elementary and collegiate students.  Using my psychological and social work background, I am able to meet students where they are and motivate them to reach their fullest potential. I have a special interest in at risk students which is the foundation for my recent published work.  My vision is to be the voice that ignites a change which gives foster children A FIGHTING CHANCE at having a productive life; free from hurt, fear, uncertainty, and inconsistencies. I will forever be an advocate for children in foster care; providing a voice to the voiceless and bringing awareness to the issues they encounter.
